Whole School Photographs 18/10/17

Unfortunately, the photographer did not turn up today for the school photographs.  Success Photography have sent their apologies and we have rearranged the session for Wednesday, 22nd November 2017.  

They have confirmed that photographs will be available in time for Christmas - the proofs will be sent home on the 23/11/17 and you will then be able to order on line.




Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease 12.10.17

We have a diagnosed case of Hand, Foot and Mouth in school.  It is highly contagious so please keep your child away from school if you suspect they may have contracted it. More information can be found at:



Shingles 9.10.17

A member of staff has been diagnosed with Shingles.  If you are pregnant or have supressed immunity, please contact your GP or NHS 111 for advice.  Further information can be found at:



Canon Lane (under the bridge) closure 25th - 27th September 2017

From Monday 25th – Wednesday 27th September Canon Lane will be closed at the point where it goes under the railway bridge. Diversions will be in place  - see map below.  This will have an impact on traffic and so it is important that you bear this in mind when bringing/collecting your children to/from school.

Students in the Middle and Upper School should wear the following, if possible:

  • black jumpers and the optional blazer; 
  • black trousers/skirt;
  • white shirt and tie (optional)/white polo shirt
  • black shoes



Seasonal flu vaccinations for the autumn term 2017

Seasonal flu vaccinations will be given to our students from Reception to Year 13 on the following dates:

  • First dose: 3rd October 2017
  • Second dose: 3rd November 2017

Policies and Guidelines

Hum Jolly

We are an Asian mums’ group that meet every Tuesday between 9:30-11:00 at Manor Green School. Our main aim is to discuss a variety of topics and issues that will help us in our daily lives as well as give support to each other regarding our SEN children.

The group is led by the mums so this year we have decided to take part in a variety of activities such as yoga, days out, massage and beauty, career talks and confidence building, as well as learn about the school system in more detail, such as transferring your child’s statement to an EHCP. 

Meetings are thoroughly enjoyable with lots of laughter and fun so if you are an Asian mum with a child at Manor Green School why don’t you get in touch. Contact Katie Gear in the first instance at
