What is our Admissions process?
Manor Green is a special school for students with designated moderate, severe or profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD).
Students at Manor Green typically work at least 4-5 years behind their mainstream age-equivalent peers.
At Manor Green School classes are grouped into ‘Clusters’ based on the needs of the students. We have an Early Years and First School Cluster, a ‘Towards Independence’ an ‘Independence and specialist Cluster for Middle and Upper school (ASD and PMLD). Where the student is placed depends on the specific needs and provisions they require.
If you’re seeking a change of placement, or your current school is saying they can’t meet your child’s needs, please get in touch with your local authority SEN team in the first instance to discuss the next steps, as each local authority has its procedures around school placements.
All admission requests need to come from your local authority. Any offers will be made after we have visited prospective students and if we have a suitable peer cohort and can meet the provision as specified in the EHCP.
